Fox2 Food Drive For Operation Food Search | News

Tim Ezell and the morning crew partnered with Dierbergs and Operation Food Search out annual food drive for the needy.  Monday morning at the Dierbergs in Manchester, Tim, Sunny Schafer from Operation Food Search and Andy Pauk, COO of Dierbergs kicked off the food drive.  Dierbergs has pre-packaged grocery bags that you can purchase, that will be donated to Operation Food Search.  The food bags are available at all St. Louis Dierbergs stores.

Area company’s also donated to the cause, with Woods Basements donating $2,000, Mari de Villa Retirement Center $5,000, Seeger Toyota $2,5000 and 2012 Sienna for nutritionists to use around the metro area and finally River City and Lumierer Casinos donated $10,000 to the cause.

Mary K, a long time donor to Operation Food Search, donated over 100 frozen turkeys to help feed the needy this holiday season.

All proceeds go to feeding the needy, which has increased by 30% this year. So please donate what you can for this season.  Less than 1% of donations go to administration of Operation Food Search.
